DIAGNOSIS

There are no tests to confirm a diagnosis of repetitive strain injury (RSI). Pain felt in the affected area may be common, but can often be due to a variety of factors.

RSI is often diagnosed based on the fact that symptoms develop following a repetitive task, and tend to fade, or be partially relieved, once the task is stopped.
